Hi,

I have an issue where I have three sites in an Exchange 5.5 environment. The server at one of the locations was dying so we put in a new server and moved all the mailboxes across to it. It has been working OK for a while now however we have not got the Public Folders working at all.

In ESM, underneath the new server it shows "Private Information Store" and "Public Information Store". I am able to expand both of these to see the items underneath OK.

If I go into Outlook for any user on this server and left click on "Public Folders". I get the following error in the window pane on the right:

"Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location. Your profile is not configured. (/o=Company Name/ou=Sydney/cn=Configuration/cn=Servers/cn=SYD-DIV-001)"

If I try to right click the "Public Folders" I get a popup error with the following:

"The set of folders could not be opened. Your profile is not configured. (/Company Name/ou=Sydney/cn=Configuration/cn=SYD-DIV-001"

The strange thing is that the SYD-DIV-001 is the server name of the OLD server that has been decomissioned and removed from the network. The new server name is SYD-DIV-003.

I have also tried this as the Administrator and still get the exact same problem.

Any ideas as to where I should be looking at, google searches and MS articles are proving fruitless.
