Hello,

ich have a very strange Problem.
We have an ExchangeServer2003 SP2 as central MailGateway (TrustedNet) and MailMarshall as InternetGateway.

The third system is a selfdeveloped System (Base AS400)

i send a mail from my Outlooksystem to gmx/yahoo, it works fine.
If i send a mail from the AS-system, i get

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event Category: SMTP Protocol
Event ID: 7004
Date: 7/30/2008
Time: 5:11:49 PM
User: N/A
Computer: EXCHANGE
Description:
This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection #16. The remote host "10.10.10.10", responded to the SMTP command "mail" with "553 badly formatted address -
". The full command sent was "MAIL FROM:
". This will probably cause the connection to fail.

For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.

The sender adress is my mailaddress (changed already). The sender address is in the SMTPLogfile from my AS-system correct. But from the Exchangesystem to Mailmarshall, there is something wrong.

This is very strange, the first capital letter from my MailAddress.

i don't know what's the problem Question

Any ideas?????
