hello everyone.

I have a strange problem with the eseutil tool.

I have a edb file, almost 70gb. with offline defragmentation , the process completes successful, but the size of the edb file remain the same. 70gb.

i have archive all the mailboxes of the users.
the server is sbs 2003,with exchange 2003 sp2.

any suggestion?

The Event ID 1221 will report the amount of contiguous free space that it has created up to that point in time

Check this in the application log to find how much space that you can recover through offline defragmentation
