Hi

Can anybody tell me how you setup an Administrators mailbox that receives
all e-mails that are addressed to people that don't exist within our company.
Basically like a catch all mailbox.

Thanks

Simon

hey dude,
you need to open server manager>pop3 connector manager>troubleshooting tab
and then set Undeliverable POP3 Mail to the relevant mailbox in the drop
down men (all mail boxes appear in this drop down)

haven't a clue if you're using smtp i'm afraid though i imagine its
something similiar

You can create a postmaster mailbox that will receive all non-deliverable
reports that an SMTP virtual server generates. This is done by going to the
properties of the SMTP virtual server on the Messages tab. Put in the email
address of your postmaster mailbox under "Send copy of Non-Delivery Reports
to:".

If you wanted to have something that drops a copy of a message that was
attempted to be delieverd to your Exchange servers, but there was no valid
recipient, that is only possible with an Event Sink and not available out of
the box.
