No Outlook Exchange support |
|
|
I am trying to setup Outlook from Office 2000 cd on a users computer but
the only available option is internet email (control panel>mail>internet
email), no place to even add profiles. I uninstalled and when I go to
custom installation there is no exchange server support entry. I have
installed on hundreds of computers so I know the cd has this option. The
user did attempt this on their own with a different office cd but not sure
what version of Office 2000. The user is actually the head of our MS
department in China so I am doing this remotely. When you go to help and
about Microsoft Outlook it says no email at the top. Does anyone know if
there is a registry entry that I need to change or a certain file on the
computer that needs to be deleted out? Thanks in advance, I have never seen
this problem before and just can't seem to get to the bottom of it.

Install Outlook
Open Outlook.
Tools/Options.
Mail Delivery tab.
Reconfigure Mail Support tab.
Choose Corp/Workgroup option.
