Post Cluster Migration |
|

I have *finally* configured my Exch2k3 cluster successfully.
I have an existing Exch2k server.
I have migrated a single user to the Exch2k3 cluster successfully. This
user is able to receive mail from users homed on the existing Exch2k server.
This user is able to send and receive EXTERNAL (smtp-based) Internet email.
He is NOT able to send messages to the existing Exch2k users.
Their names resolve when he addresses users, and the messages are sent
without error. However they are never delivered. I can see them sitting in
the queue.
I'd really like to take some time to do this migration as I have a
significant number of users, so if I can migtate them over in groups, over a
few days, that would be great. However, I can't do that if I can't send
mail from the new Exch2k3 cluster to the existing Exch2k server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've looked at everything and can't
figure this one out. Thanks.

Are the two Exchange servers in the same Routing group? Is there a routing
group connector setup between the two?
If you turn on the message tracking on the Exch2k3, and track the message
send from the user on Exch2k3 to exch2k, where is the message get stuck in
the queue?
