We have Exchange 2000 Cluster server connected to PV660. We are planning to
move the Databese and Logs to a new SAN D220. Please help us on accomplishing
this task.

Thank you

Hmm, easiest way to do this that I can think of is to:
1. Add the D220 to your SAN fabric
2. Make LUNS on the D220 available to the HBA(s) in the Exchange server
3. Rescan the drives
4. Use the Exchange tools and move the files
5. Make teh LUNS on the PV660 unavailable to Exchange
6. Remove the PV660 from the SAN fabric

Agreed, but I would add some reboots in there. I never hook up a new SAN
configuration to my HBA live :)

Cheers,

Rod

I hope you guys are friends. Thank you for your responds; but I'm not
familiar with Exchange Tools that would move Exchange Database. Can you give
me the an exact name or links for this tool.

Friends? Yes, I am friends with most MCT/MVPs. And for some reason they all
make fun of me?

Ok, you can use the Exchange System Manager to move the DB's. Take them
offline, right-click on the store and change the path. Exchange will move it
for you, then bring it back online.

Cheers,

Rod

We did some test last weekend. When we took PV660 offline, Exchange Services
from the Cluster Administrator failed to "Start" because for some reason its
still referring to the old PV660 SAN. Is there any Microsoft documentation
that would cover this process?

Did you mirror the data and disk signatures? Dumcfg is one way.

Cheers,
