Hi...

I formatted the two exchange nodes that I created (without uninstalling
exchange)and started a new cluster. After creating a new EVS I was surprised
to see that the old EVS still exists along withthe new EVS. I found out that
the old EVS is still in the AD, probably because of schema modifications.

I wish to know how to remove the old EVS from the AD and will any future
conflicts occur with the current setup.

Hi,

What version of Exchange are you running? If it is Exchange 2003, there is
a Remove Exchange Virtual Server context menu item on the System Attendant
resource you can use to remove the server from AD.
