Hello,
Is it possible (and if so- how), to place a notification on the corporate
intranet if you have unread mail?
We're using Exchange Server 2003 with the web email facility.

Many thanks,
Gaz

You can create event sink or use WebDAV notification methods.

Depends on what you want (need).

If you need WebDAV API for Exchange server,
use our component WebDAV .NET for Exchange.

What we need is the equivilent of the Unread Messages folder, or an icon
that indicates that a user has unread messages.
I just don't have a clue where to begin.

Every message has "Read" property. The property indicate if message "unread"
or "read".
You can get value of the property from message or you can search entire
folder in order to find all "unread" messages.
