Hi,

I didn't realy understand the routing between virtual servers yet.

With a single server I should use multiple, different configured
virtual-SMTP servers to meet common security requirements. I understand how
to design the incomming mail flow. Otherwise I know, that outgoing mails are
routed based on the routing table - but how to configure two virtual
SMTP-Servers to seperate the incomming from the outgoing flow? And is by
design a SMTP-Connecor prefered for outgoing mails?

I have to redesign an e2k single server organisation, which is actually
using an Linux-firewall mail gateway. The Linux-firewall will be replaced by
an appliance without mail gateway function - that's it. So I'd like to
configure an incomming virtual SMTP-Server, an outgoing SMTP-Server and a
SMTP-Connector using the outgoing v-srv as bridgehead. I believe the
connector is better for controlling the outgoing mails (which user can send
mails => aditional security against spam).

I'm scared for making a mistake in configuring the virtual SMTP-Servers. :-)
Who can help me? Exists some good (and short) withe papers?

Tnx in advanced
Steffen
