When i try to archive messages it doesn't archive.

I'm trying to archive < 9/1/2004 and NO messages are found.

I did notice when i open any of the emails before 9/1/2004 and then selected
"FILE", "PROPERTIES" on those messages the sent, received and modified are as
follows:
SENT: 1/2/2004 1:29 PM
RECEIVED: 1/2/2004 1:29 PM
MODIFIED: 12/10/2004 12:53 PM

Could it be that it's trying to archive by "modified" date? And if so, how
to i archive by received date?

Thanks in advance,
Jeffrey M. D'Entremont
