What is the best way to disable OWA on a 2003 Exchange server

How does Exchange tie into IIS (WWW , SMTP)
Do you need the following services running for exchange to work
What will shutting down the following services effect exchange wise
w3svc
smtpsvc
iisadmin

Just stop the HTTP Virtual Server in the System Manager.
