I bought my laptop from an individual. I had do delete his copy of MS Office 2003 because he kept the discs. So...I just bought my own copy of Outlook 2003. It installs fine...but when I try to start it up I get several messages. First.. there is a small window that opens first with a title bar, "Configuring Outlook" text says "Configuring Outlook Accounts Creating Welcome Message" The second message window title is "Connecting to Microsoft..." The text of this window says "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable" with 3 buttons, Retry, Workoffline, and cancel. Outlook closes no matter which one I click.

I know enough to know that the previous owner of this laptop used an Exchange server for his email...but I cannot get rid of it! I've uninstalled, deleted every exchange reference I could find in the registry, but I cannot find where or how to get rid of this! I'm out of time to keep looking for it on my own...so I need some help. Does anyone out there know how to get rid of the Exchange settings, profile, or whatever is causing this?
