|
|
Hi to you all,
I am planning to make a migration form samba/notes to
win2k3/exchange,
I am studying, and planning a migration, but I read in mine book from
windows 2003 sbs, that there is a version of exchange included, is
this a good version ?? so I don't need to buy, another version of
Exchange??? (like an enterprise version, I have here 40 mailaccounts)

Hello,
Exchange version included in SBS is very good. You don't need to buy another
product.
I think is a standard version and have a limit of 16Gb for mailboxes and
public folders store.

SBS2003 includes Exchange 2003 Standard. It isn't anything different from
buying Exchange 2003 Standard on its own, but it's a lot more affordable to
buy it in the SBS bundle. It has a 16GB limit and supports only one
mailstore, and SBS supports up to 75 users.
You can't use/run Exchange Enterprise on an SBS server, although you can add
another Exchange server (standard or enterprise) to a network running SBS.
