I have an w2k domain in place for 1 year now, I am going to add a exchange 2k
or 2k3 in plase as a member server. I was wondering will the user move over
to the exchange? Or do I need to manually going in anc create exchange
accounts for each user on the domain?

Not sure I get the question. Do you have an Exchange 5.5 server with
mail accounts already or do you have no mail system and you're
planning on bringing your first one into the mix?

Have a W2k domain with no mail server currently. I'm adding an w2k3 /w
exchange 2k3 as a member server. I wanted to know will I ned to add my users
to the exchange server one by one or i can script them or will the be there
already once I join the 2k3 box in the mix.

You will need to mail enable the users.

Depending on how many mailboxes you have and where they are you might
simply higlight them in ADU&C (on the exchange server) and then right
click & select mail enable.
If they're all over the place then you can script it, but again you
will need to configure it in such a way as to exclude those accounts
that you don't want mailboxes for.

I'd lay odds on the fact that your AD accounts for "proper" users are
in a container away from all the other non interactive user mailboxes
etc, so highlighting the contents of the relevant OU might be your
fastest option.
