Configuring E-Mail within Exchange |
|
|
Hi,
I am having trouble configuring Exchange to send email. I have mulitple POP3
accounts setup with the POP3 connector which work fine, I can recieve e-mail
on all exchange mailboxes fine. However, i cannot send any e-mail, i'm not
sure if I have setup the SMTP connector correctly, there doesn't seem to be
any options to tell the connector to use my isp's smtp outgoing server
(smtp.wanadoo.co.uk)
Am i missing something or just approaching this the wrong way?
Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

On the General tab of the SMTP Connector there's an option to "Forward all
mail through this connector to the following smart hosts", use that option
to forward mail to the ISP's SMTP server.
