Is there a difference in the way Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003
authenticate users?

The reason for me asking is; I have code that extracted data from an
Exchange 2000 server running on Windows 2003 Server.

Everything works fine, but when I try and extract data from an Exchange 2003
server running on Windows 2003 Server, I get an Error 401, Authentication
Failed.

I use NTLM for authentication.

TIA
