Absolutely.
Recipient policies dictate which domains your Exch Server will accept
mail for. Its really no different than an Windows NT domain in that
regard.

Can the Windows Domain name and the Internet Domain names be different for
Exchange implementation. Our Exchange Server is NOT on the Internet and we
do not have any public IPs. We are downloading emails from POP3 accounts
from an ISP and distributing them locally. My query is, Can I have "ABC" as
my Windows domain name and "XYZ.com" as my registered domain name? Will
Exchange 2003 work properly in this configuration? Please suggest.
Thanks,
Rima. |
