Hi

I'm trying to complete an E2K3 to new E2K3 migration, I'm aware that the
Exchange Migration Wizard will NOT migrate rules etc so have turned to
Exmerge.

While to tool will export the rules intact when they are imported into the
new mailbox they do not get recreated correctly due to the fact all the
folders messages etc get new entryID values so the rule cannot "get" the
destination folder if that is the action of the rule. Exporting the rule to a
RWZ file will not work either due to the same problem above with the entryID
attribute changing when the "new" folders are created in the destination
store.

Does anyone know if MS have an additional tool that'll fix this or is the
only way to succesfully migrate rules to use a third party tool such as Quest.

We have approx 2000 mailboxes to move but about 50% are functional mailboxes

Both domains are running Windows 2003 at 2003 functional level and Exchnage
is in native mode with SP2 applied in the target org and SP1 in the source
org.
