Only one user can access OWA at a time |
|
|
I'm using SBS2003 and when more than one user tries to access email using OWA
via a vpn only one user can get in at a time. Is there a setting in Exchange
or OWA that restricts the nuber of users allowed at a time?

There is a setting in IIS Manager for this, but I would be surprised
if it really was set at 1. Look at the properties of your Default Web
Site, and on the Performance tab there is an option to limit the
number of connections. See if you have a value in there.

You need to make sure it isn't VPN weirdness. Can multiple users access OWA
from behind the firewall simultaneously?

Yes they can, it doesn't matter where they are outside the firewall only one
can access it at a time |

If multiple users can access Exchange from inside the firewall, then the
problem IS NOT with exchange, but with either your firewall config, or your
VPN config. This isn't really the best forum for that. What kind of VPN
software are you using? What kind of firewall? |
