A large number of messages are pending in the e-mail server send queue.

Verify that you have Internet connectivity. If you can view Web sites
normally, contact your Internet service provider (ISP) to determine if there
is a problem with their e-mail server.

You can disable this alert or change its threshold by using the Change Alert
Notifications task in the Server Management Monitoring and Reporting
taskpad.

How can i get rid of the queued messages??

Thanks Chris

Chris,

Are all the messages bound for the same destination or seperate destinations
?
Has it ever worked ?
Do you forward messages to a smarthost (such as an ISP) or do you send
messages directly using DNS ?
Anything logged in the application event log on the Exchange server ?
Do the messages ever get sent or do the users get and NDR back ? If an NDR
is returned what are the details of the NDR ?
