Hello,

I know this is now an old product but I hope someone can help me;

Exchange 5.5
NT4 Domain
Outlook 2000 & 2003

1) Out of the box, when a new user & mailbox is created should other
standard users be able to view the new users calendar?

2) If not, how can I give access for everyone to be able to view everyones
calendar as default to all users?

I cannot find any explicit permissions in the ESM, but if I change the
calendar permissions on a single account from 'Default - None' to 'Default -
Reviewer'.

Many thanks to anyone who helps.

No, that's down to individual users to configure. Calendars are
primarily a concept of Outlook and although Exchange has the free/busy
information the views and permissions are largely controlled within
Outlook.

www.symprex.com have a solution for centralized calendar management.
There are a few others around, but that's one I'm more familiar with

Thanks Mark

Does that mean in an AD domain it could be controled by Group Policy?

Do you know if there is a way to control this in an NT4 domain, or can it
be set by a transform file on installation of Outlook 2003?

Regards
