Hello

I have a problem with my RPC over http.
Environment:
Windows 2003 server with exchange 2003sp1 +GC,
Client Xp sp2,
Win 2003 server with ISA 2004 sp1.

Domain: domain.town.com.local
ISA pub of mail: mail.domain.com

I’ll get my login box, and enter my credentials, the login box pops up
again. What have I done wrong.
https://mail.domain.com/rpc works
https://mail.domain.com/rpc/rpcproxy.dll works

Any solutions?

Best Regards
Micke

Can you check this from inside the LAN (you may need to tick the extra
box in Outlook) and connect from within, not using the ISA. See what
you get (but make sure your connection is HTTPS by doing the crtl &
right click on the Outlook icon in the system tray)

After I have changed settings (proxysettings on my RPC connections) to go
direct to mail server, it trieds to connect with https and then switch to
tcp. I use https on fast connection and slow connection and basic auth.

I dont use SSL on the inside. so ISA shall send RPC request to my mail server.

The point being that you will need to rejig your settings in order to
do proper diagnostics.

Okey here is all my settings:
Client -SSL- ISA -rpc- Exchange

https://secure.domain.com outside
[mailserver].place.domain.com.local inside

ISA 2004 openend /rpc/* +/owa/* + /exchange/*
Exchange 2003 sp1 ports 6002 and 6004 +proxy settings.

- Dont know what you mean: (you may need to tick the extra
box in Outlook)??
- Im no sure how to test on the inside, when we don use the same domain name.

Best Regards
