Send as / Send on behalf problems |
|
|
Hi
I have a small problem with the Send as / Send on behalf settings.
I have a customer who need to be able to send mails on behalf of another user.
I am using Exchange 2003 on Server 2003.
I have made all the appropriate changes and I can send mails on behalf of
the other user but my problem is that when some one receives the mail it says
"From xx@xx.com on behalf of xx@xxx.com".
I need it to only write the actual e-mail address and not that it has been
send by some one else.
I have tried doing the exact same thing on our Exchange 2003 server at work
and it actually works perfectly, the difference between the two setups is
that our customer has a 2003 Small Business server with Exchange and we have
a 2003 Standard server with Exchange 2003 installed.

Make sure Outlook isn't set up with this other user as a delegate - set
permissions entirely in Exchange. If "send on behalf of" is enabled in
Outlook, I believe it will trump the Send As rights set on the server
itself. |

I have only made changes to the Exchange server, no changes has been made at
the client. Where do I check if the Outlook settings has been changed?

So the only place that there has beeen made any changes is on the Exchange
server
