Problems with Outlook 2003

When i start Microsoft Ouylook 2003 in Windows 2003 SP1 it gives me this
message error:

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window.
The set of folders could not be opened. The set of folders could not be
opened. The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable.
Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."

What can i do to solve this problem.

You could start by providing a good deal more information than you

currently have. We need to know if the mailbox (account) is new,
whether the account has indeed got SMTP addresses assigned to it and
whether there are any network issues that might be causing problems
with the workstation getting to the exchange server.

Well...do you actually have an Exchange Server? Are you really running
Outlook on a Windows 2003 Server or did you mean this is a Windows XP box?
