In exchange 2003 how can I have a user's email be auto forwarded to a POP3
account?

Thanks,

Hi Raul,
I am assuming what you mean by pop account is an external account i.e
hotmail, hotfemail etc.

There are two ways of doing this:
1. Create the user but dont create a mailbox for him. In the exchange tasks
assign the external mail id to it. Exchange will forward all mails to this
account.

2. If you already have a user who is going on vacation to Bhamas and need to
access his mail from hotmail/hotfemale. Create a contact in the AD and assign
the external mail id to it.
In the AD forward all mails from this user mailbox to the contact that you
just created.

The user could also create a forward or redirect rule. It will be a
server-side rule, so no need to have a client connected to process it.
