I am setting up an active/active/active/active/passive cluster in Exchange
2003. It will have four virtual servers.

Anybody know of any links that would help here? I want to review something
before I get started to make sure I am planning this all out correctly.

I have only built two node clusters and those were easy.

5-node clusters aren't much different.
- What you need to think about: preferred owners, not an issue in 2-node
clusters.
- Planning/sizing: Having only one passive node in a 5-node cluster - only
one EVS can failover at a time to the single passive node.

One link that may be of interest is how Microsoft's OTG does Exchange
clustering:

Indeed only one EVS can failover. The client mainly wants to use this
passive node to help them with scheduled maintenance and only the lightest
duty fault tolerance. The drives it uses to point to exchange dbs are
already in use.
