I did a few mock upgrades in a test envrionment of 5.5 to 2003 and never
really encountered any problems. Now I have an Exchange 2003 server live in
my production envrionment and I'm trying to move only my mailbox to test it.
Move Mailbox manager goes through and errors me out with "this mailbox
exceeded the maximum number of corrupted items specified for this move
mailbox operation" and then lists a whole bunch of mail messages that I guess
it's saying are corrupted. So I tried a few other mailboxes and I get the
same thing every time. Is there something I'm missing here? I don't want
all of these messages to get deleted by ignoring them and moving mailboxes
with the option to delete them. It's happening with every mailbox I try, but
never in my test setups. I replicated my exact production environment in
testing, too. Any help is appreciated.

You may have to do an offlind defrag and repair with ESE util to your
exchange 5.5 database. We have also seen this when you have hardware or Disk
problems

As a follow up, if I select multiple mailboxes to move at one time, it
immediately returns success for all of them. When I view the xml report
however, it says that the mailbox already exists on the destination (2003)
server.
