When running an ESEUTIL against a database in a Storage Group, I received the
following error:

024034 ERROR: ESEUTIL terminated with an error: Operation terminated with
error -528 (JET_errMissingLogFil
e, Current log file missing) after 1969.16 seconds. while checking
"I:\EXCHSRVR\MDBDATA\E00". /*e*/

According to an old KB article (181796), it states the reason for this error
is:

Error -528 corresponds to JET_errMissingLogFile. The above error is received
when the Edb.log and Edb.chk files are missing from the Exchsrvr\Mdbdata
directory and there are other .log files in this directory.

However, both these files are, in fact, in the same folder with the other
log files. Completing the proposed work around does not solve the ESEUTIL
failure.

Any ideas?

To verify the consistency of a Replica, MS requires that an ESEUTIL /k be run
against the databases prior to any log management occurring and associated
log truncation.
