Hi.-
I have 1 exchange 2000 server. I install new exchange 2003 server in the
same routing group. Now I can't send e-mail from mailboxes from one server to
another. In the Exch2000 appears a queue named "server2003.mydomain.com
(Remote Delivery)" and a lot of messages are pending. I start moving 2
mailboxes and made this test, but now I'm stuck with this.
Some one knows how to enable the comunication between this two servers?
Than You

Anti-virus can cause this issue be sure that you are not scanning outbound
e-mail on the server that is queing up . The other thing is can you ping the
other server by name.

Are they on the same subnet?

can you telnet to the recieving server

I resolve the problem..
I had a smarthost is the past, but when I made tha changes to disable the
smarthost (this is strange) with the virtual server up, and then stop and
start the virtual server, THE MAILS REMAIN IN QUEUE.
But when I stop the virtual server and made the changes(with the vitrual
server stopped), then start the virtual server.. ALL MAILS ARE DELIVERED
CORRECTLY.. STRANGE!!

Well, this is what I do.. Any comments??
