Hi All,

Have a small problem. I have SBS2000 running with about 10 users. All
users except 1 can retrive mail using POP3 (some remote users have to do it
via POP3). I have switched loging on and can see that the Outlook client is
authenticating with the server, but when there is a message to retrive it
hangs and comes back with the standard time out error. In Outlook 2003,
when you go through the set up of a POP3 mail box there is a 'Test' button,
this appears to test successfully. Web Mail works fine so I can see the
messages are definately there. It's just when you hit the 'Retreive
Messages' button in Outlook the server reports that there are x number of
messages to retreive, but then just hangs.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers in advance

Tim

Is the client that doesn't work in the same location as the other
clients? Is there a firewall in front of that client. There are some
ports that need to be unblocked for POP3.
