Hi

I need to deploy 150 Exchange 2003 SP2 Servers without user intervention.
How can I create a full-text index on the mailbox and public folder store
programmatically? MSSearch_Admin.vbs does not seem to help in this case.

Thanks, Thomas

Are you sure you want FTI? We added it to our deployment and then dropped
it. The indexing process consumes a lot of resources and is out of date
virtually the second it finishes. It's difficult to explain to users that
the search function will only find things that have been in the mailbox for
at least x hours or days. It seems to me that personal indexes are the way
to go. Free Outlook add-ons like Lookout
(http://www.lookoutsoft.com/Lookout/lookoutinfo.html) are far superior IMO.
I believe that even Microsoft is no longer recommending FTI except for
Public Folders.
