Outlook 2003, Exchange Server, and Rules |
|
|
Can you advise if there is a way to work with Outlook Rules for filtering
messages ONLY on the desktop computer running Outlook 2003, and NOT having
the rules sync with the server? Put simply, I have a large number of rules
for filtering messages, and would like the messages filtered on my desktop
computer, NOT by the Exchange Server - that way I won't have to limit the
number of rules I use. The inbox will ultimately still sync with the
Exchange and my Smart Phone, but I won't have to limit the number of rules I
use....Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Not possible that I know of. If a rule does something that can't be handled
by Outlook alone, it will automatically become a server-side rule. |
