Exchange 2000 error :A configuration error in the e-mail sys |

Hi guys
I am getting the error message "A configuration error in the e-mail system
caused the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between
two recipients".
I have recently installed a new Exchanger server in our organisation and I
get the error message after I try to send an email to a user who has had
their mailbox moved over to the new server. I can however, send from the
users account with no problem.
I can see the emails queued in the original servers SMTP queues in ESM with
the rebound icon (white circle with curved blue arrow) against the new
servers name (fully qualified address).
I have configured the SMTP connectors to accept connections and relay
between the two servers so that should be ok.
My internal domain name is internal.com but the emails which I am relaying
in our domains are different, they are domain.com email addresses but in each
users address, I have all their internal.com and domain.com email addresses.
I can't think what else could be causing this. Would anyone have any ideas
of what this could be?
Thanks
Alan
