We are using Outlook 2K#. In the address book is it possible to show
the receipients SMTP address instead of the EX address for contacts
that are in the Global Address List?

In the address book view itself? No, not that I know of. But you can
right-click on any object & go to properties, and see the assigned SMTP (and
other) addresses.
