unable to connect to Exch.03 through RPC over HTTP. |

Hello,
I have recently setup Exchange 2003 on Win03 in win2k environment. I have
followed all the instructions provided by Microsoft for installing and
configuring RPC over HTTP.
My attempts at setting up a test e-mail account through RPC over HTTP on
Outlook03 were unsuccessful.
But when I setup the test e-mail account on Outlook03 through the LAN
(without configuring RPC over HTTP), then opening outlook at least once, then
configure RPC over HTTP, and then I would be able to access Exchang through
RPC over HTTP.
Why am I not able to setup an e-mail account through RPC over HTTP on
Outlook03?

What version of Exchange 2003 are you at?
If you are not at SP1, I would highly recommend going to SP1 as this might
resolve your issue.
If you are already at SP1 then give me more details on what happens when you
try to set up the profile externally.
Where do you fail, how do you fail etc.
I will tell you that you will need some patience, as it can take a while for
this process to complete externally.
Many companies to initially set up the profile internally to avoid this
delay.
