Is this something with the linksys router OR exchnage 2003?
Do I have to open any ports in the linksys router because of exchange?
Thanks,

What does "internet connection keeps crashing" mean? Can the server (&
workstations) ping the default gateway (I presume this is the Linksys LAN
IP) when it isn't working? Ping a DNS server on the Internet?
By default, Linksys (and similar) gateway appliances don't block outbound
traffic at all - if you want to host your own mail, you'll need to open up
TCP port 25 & forward traffic for it to the Exchange server's LAN IP. You
might want to make sure you're using the latest firmware for your Linksys. |
