Exchange 5.5 IMS Keeps Crashing |
|
|
Nothing meaningful in the event logs. I have tried deleting and
recreating
the IMS, Checking the email account in the IMS for an X.400 entry,
reapplying
service pack 4, and deleting the files out of imsdata/in and out
folders,
disabling the anti-virus scanning, and some other things I can't
remember
right now...All per either KB articles or suggestions found in
different
forums.
The exchange IMS service will only start successfully after one or two
reboots of the server. Even then, it won't stay up longer than one
hour.
All of the other Exchange services are running just fine.

Call in and request Q884874 (latest version of IMC)...has a fix for recent
crashes due to bad dns data coming from spam domain.
