Removing Exchange 2000 |
|
|
Hi!
A few hours ago I uninstalled Exchange 2000 from an A/P cluster running on Windows 2000 and noticed that the server still is showing
in System Manager on my Exchange 2003 A/P Cluster. I thought that it would disappear automatically but that seems not to be the way.
Any ideas?

Hi,
You can find information on how to manually remove Exchange 2000 at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;260378. Note that
you may need to use ADSI Edit to remove orphaned directory objects in case
the manual server removal does not remove them all.
Hope this helps.

Hi Scott!
Thanks for your reply! I removed the server from System Manager and that seem to have removed every point to it in Active Directory.
