The current environment is an NT4 PDC with Exchange 5.5 installed on the same
server. I want to upgrade NT4 to Windows 2003 and then upgrade Exchange 5.5.
Please let me know if this upgrade path is possible.

No.
Exchange 5.5 will not run on Win2003.

There is no direct path upgrade from 5.5 to Exchange 2003.

Here's a pretty good place to start looking at how to upgrade.

5.5 is not supported on Windows 2003 and in-place upgrades from 5.5 to
Exch 2003 arent either!
