Combined Resource calendar view - where to start |

Hello, I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this but I can not seem to find
anything in the history.
I'm looking for some general information on where to start looking.
I need to produce a weekly/monthly calendar view that would show resource
reservations (like conference rooms, projectors, etc.) on one page.
For instance: I need to see a weekly schedule (Monday, Tuesday, etc at top -
times down the side) that would show at a glance resource bookings and
availability for all the conference rooms available. Just one place to see
all room reservations by week (or day or month).
I could display this in Outlook or on a web page if I new where to start or
if this is even possible.
Can anyone provide and general guidance on if it is possible to create such
a page in the Outlook 2003 interface (preferably) or on a web page?
Any help to get me going would be appreciated.

Thanks Dan,
I was looking to make something custom and was looking for some guidance on
what/where to look to get started. To write an enterprise wide resource
viewing page, would it be done with VB, .Net, VB Script. Can it even be
done?
For example, I'd like to be able to add to our exchange system the
functionality to allow users to, while in their Outlook 2003, schedule
company cars - similar to how they can reserve conference rooms. Can this
be done? Via what conduit? Combination IIS and Exchange?
Just looking some general guidance as what would be required to accomplish
such a thing.

What you want to do is definitely possible, yup.
Some of the links at the page I posted are sample code; check those out,
that'll give you more information.
Basically, though, there's an awful lot of ways you can do it, the link I
posted first describes many of them -- public folders, ASP, normal VB
code, C++, I reckon you could do it from Java/Perl/Python with one of the
COM wrapper hooks for those, even. See www.outlookcode.com for even more
info on this. The page I posted _is_ the best place to get started..
