Scan to fax - exchange server

We have a Konica Bizhub that does a great job for the scanning that we need.
It is wonderful to scan a job and have it sent to myself. but, it is my
understanding that in the setup for Exchange Server 2003, we can scan a job
to a fax number and ES will know to fax the job to the number provided
instead of e-mailing it. I would like to get rid of the old fax machine that
we have for sending faxes if this is possible. Konica has had trouble
finding the document, but I was told there is a white paper on this topic.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You wouldn't do scan to fax. Any device like this that did scanning
would be a multi function device that did print/fax/copy/scan/scan &
    email/print & fax.
Usually people who had an enterprise solution wouldn't need to print
to fax machine but would email to fax.
You have written this like you want to scan in, email off to a server
and then the server translates that to a fax number. Seems a
    duplication of effort to me.

    Mark,

Thanks for the reply, but our multi function bizhub does not have any faxing
capabilities built in, nor is it an option. We end up some people who cannot
recieve an e-mail, but can have documents faxed to them. Ideally, I would
like to scan the document and have the server be able to fax it from
exchange. Is this an option that you are aware of?

    Thanks,

    John.
