remove first exchange server

I have a single exchange 2000 server, that is being replaced by an Ex2003
server on new hardware.

Once Ex2003 server is configured (identically to Ex2000), mailboxes moved
nad has been running next to Ex2000 for a bit I obviously want to get rid of
the old box.

Do I have to do follow the instructions How to remove the first Exchange
2000 Server computer from the site - http://support.microsoft.com/?id=307917.
Is that it? Nothing else is required?
