    FE-BE issue

    I am setting up a Back-end Ex2k3 behind a inner-firewall, a W2k3 terminal
server and a Front-end Ex2k3 between an inner and outer-firewall. All servers
are member of a single AD-domain and can communicate with each other.
User connect via vpn to the outer firewall and create a session on the
terminal server. I would like users to start Outlook at the terminal server
and connect to the FE-Ex2k3 server. Their mailboxes are located at the
    BE-Ex2k3.
Outlook displays an error that it cannot fnd the user on the selected server
(on the FE-Ex2k3). The help-file states when using FE-BE the FE should relay
client-requests to the BE, but I see no traffic between the FE and BE in a
    network-analyzer.
What do I need to do to make this work. I do not wish to use OWA.

You need to setup RPC/HTTP if you want to use Outlook (as in the full
    client).
