Outlook 2003 "the bookmark is invalid"

We have started to receive errors in outlook "the bookmark is invalid" when
we try to view the GAL. We also cannot do a do a reply all "the connection to
    the exchange server is unavailable".

We know the server IS available as we can send and receive messages. but we
cannot view the GAL or do a reply all.

    Any ideas?

Make sure that all GC's have been rebooted after promoting them. Also
consider a second reboot to make sure the NSPI Service is being advertised.

Make sure that DNS is correct, that we do not have any bad entries for GC's.

I have seen this issue resolved with reboots and sometime's multiple reboots
    of GC's.

Otherwise the Default GAL may have to be rebuilt. If you need to do that I
would suggest opening a support incident to make sure that process goes
    smoothly.

    Hope this helps.

    Tim,
Thanks for the info. The problem was resolved by opening the address book
and granting additional permissions and them removing them. The steps came
    from PSupport.

    Thanks
