SMTP connector queue folder

[vbnetway]

hi ,
i have some 10 emails in my queue viewer, that is supposed to go through the
SMTP connector...
i browes to c:\program files\exchsrvr\mailroot\vsi 1\queue
but didn't find anything in the queue folder...

where are these itesm stored...?
my SMTP VS is configures to use the above folder, but nothing is
there,altough the queue is full of emails.
any help is appreciated

In the .edb or .stm files.

then what it is the use of the mailroot folder..?

No, I meant it's in the file.

Probably the SMTP mailbox.

then what it is the use of the mailroot folder..?

Inbound messages. Messages between Exchange servers (they're "inbound"
too, on the recieving server). Messages being relayed. SMTP (not
MAPI/RPC) message handling.
