server de-blacklisted still not recieving mail

i have a server that was left with the anonymous access open.
    we were blacklisted
after tinkering i got it correctly configured to send out only authenticated
users, got it off of the blacklist and all

    it still wont recieve mail

    Message delivery to 'it@*.org' delayed
    SMTP module(domain *.org) reports:
    connection with mail.*.org is broken

Perhaps you set it to accept connections only fro authenticated users,
