Remove Exchange 5.5 after migration to 2003

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to delete an old Exchange 5.5 from my organisation
(migrated to 2003), but I get the error:

"You cannot delete the last public folder store from the site"

?????

Any idea?

I have this issue as well, there is a document: ARTICLE ID: 822450 "How to
remove the last Exchange server 5.5 from an Exchange server administrative
group"

Essentially, you need to do it through the 5.5 administrator program.

It DID NOT work for me, in fact, I can no longer see the 5.5 server from the
5.5 administration app. but the old server is still listed! I have issues
with my fax server as its going through the 5.5 X400 and now fax server
doesn't work.

PLEASE let me know it this article worked for you or how you were able to
remove 5.5.

The error is basically telling me that the site still has public folders
(and possible some system folders) homed on the Exchange 5.5 server. Is the
Exchange 5.5 server still up? If yes, pfmigrate might help migrate these
folders to the new Exchange 2003 server. (Note: There are also System
Folders like Offline Address Book, Free/Busy, .etc that should also be
migrated to Exchange 2003.)
