    BrightStor High Availability Manager

Does anyone have any exeprience with CA's BrightStor HA Manager? I can't find
an approved HA solution list for Exchange Server 2003. Can anyone help?

    Thanks,
    Chris

I have used third party "clustering/HA" products with Exchange 2003. They
are a bear to configure and don't recognize a single server name like
    Exchange clustering does.

Legato's product is pretty good for local active/passive clustering.
Veritas has a good product as well.

As for CA...can't say for certain because I have never used it. However,
from what I have read this product sounds similar to the others.

Generally it is a bear to set these products up initially. If you can
afford to purchase a support contract for the initial config, it would be
    best to do it.

I have used CA's product, but only in a test environment.
It seemed to work well for it's purpose. If you like the design, check it
out. I haven't checked out Legato's, but I know that Geocluster from
NSISoftware works well with clustered machines as well.
