SSL 40 bit or 128 Bit encryption?

I'm going to implement SSL on our OWA and wanted to know what people
recommend and their experience. I'm thinking 40 bit since we have a lot of
users with old computers. Everyone is in the US too.

    Any recommendations?

AD 2k3 and excahnge 2003 is what i have

If all of your devices can cope with 128bit then that's the direction.
Only when you have seriously legacy enpoints do you need to drop the
    security.

    I HIGHLY reccommend 128-bit encryption.

When someone wants to view your communications and you are using a 40-bit
encryption, they only need to grab the first packet of the transmission to
    decode EVERYTHING.

When you are using 128-bit encryption, they would have to grab every packet
that is a part of that transmission to decrypt anything. That means that
they have to spend more time collecting packets which makes it harder for
them to "piece" together what you were sending.

There are other differences that exist between the two but this one is the
one I use to justify the 128-bit cost versus the 40-bit costs to
    persepective clients.

    Hope it helps.
